Masjid Otsuka participated in the Takidashi volunteering held by NPO TENOHASHI in Higashi-Ikebukuro Park on May 22, 2021.

We provided Curry rice to 383 people on the day. We had the meal together in the park before pandemic, however, we just put Curry in the lunch box and handed out to those who came in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19.

Medical and life consultation, job search support are also held on the day for those who in need. Due to the extension of the statement of emergency, the number of young people (20s to 40s) who lose jobs and ask for help is increasing these days.

Although there has been a lot of depressed and painful news going on around the world, we Masjid Otsuka would keep conducting such social contribution activity, Inshaallah
